The Garden Theatre is honored to partner with the Fade To Black Arts Festival to bring you The Rhythm of Life: A Cabaret in Color.
The Rhythm of Life chronicles the history of Black Broadway.
Featuring music from Dreamgirls, The Wiz, Porgy & Bess, Hello Dolly, Aida, Sweet Charity, and many more, this show promises to delight audiences of all ages. The cast consists of familiar faces to The Garden Theatre, including Brandon Collins (Assassins), Nicole Gee (The Color Purple), Andrea Riles (Board President; School Girls), Sloane Teagle (White Rabbit Red Rabbit; Director of Who's Holiday), and April Wheat (The Color Purple), and Garden newcomers Trey Morgan Lewis, Jordan Murrell, and Jalen Tinsley. The Rhythm of Life will leave audiences with a song in their hearts and sense of inspiration.
The Rhythm of Life was part of the Fade to Black Arts Festival. Fade To Black held it's largest festival to date with performances, play readings, and workshops that spanned across MATCH, The Hobby Center, The Alley Theatre, Stages, The Ensemble Theatre, and more!
