Ann is a no-holds-barred portrait of Ann Richards, the legendary governor of Texas. This inspiring and hilarious play brings us face to face with a complex, colorful and captivating character bigger than the state from which she hailed. Written by Emmy Award winner Holland Taylor, Ann takes a revealing look at the impassioned woman who enriched the lives of her followers, friends and family.

The Garden Theatre is honored to welcome back Nora Hahn in her critically acclaimed, star making performance as Ann Richards. Ms. Hahn has been seen on stages across Houston such as The Garden Theatre, Stageworks, Theatre Southwest, and Country Playhouse. Most recently, Ms. Hahn was seen on The Garden Theatre stage as Sister Aloysius in Doubt, A Parable, as Cumie Barrow and Ma Ferguson (the first and only other female governor of Texas) in Bonnie & Clyde, and as Clairee Belcher in Steel Magnolias.

Who's Holiday! Is a wildly funny and heartfelt adults-only comedy that tells the story of Cindy Lou Who, now all grown up and residing in a beaten-down trailer in the snowy hills of Mount Crumpit, as she recalls (in between bong rips) that Christmas Eve she first met the Grinch and the twisted turn of events her life has now taken.

Starring in this hilarious one-woman show is Houston favorite, Chaney Moore. Chaney returns to The Garden Theatre stage after appearing in 2022's White Rabbit Red Rabbit and 2024's Who's Holiday!. She has appeared on stages across Houston including Main Street Theater, Stages, The Catastrophic Theatre, and The Ensemble Theatre. Chaney is also a company member of Strangebird Immersive and has numerous film, TV, and voice over credits to her name.

Based on the iconic film starring Reese Witherspoon, Ryan Phillippe and Sarah Michelle Geller, Cruel Intentions: The ’90s Musical pulls you into the manipulative world of Manhattan’s most dangerous liaisons: Sebastian Valmont and Kathryn Merteuil. Fueled by revenge and passion, the diabolically charming step-siblings place a bet on whether or not Sebastian can deflower their incoming headmaster’s daughter, Annette Hargrove. As the two set out to destroy the innocent girl— and anyone else who gets in their way — they find themselves playing a perilous game with only one rule: Never fall in love.

Featuring your favorite throwback hits by artists like Boyz II Men, Christina Aguilera, REM, 'NSYNC, and, of course, Britney Spears, this sexy, hilarious, and so-very-cruel musical is “the ultimate night out” (Entertainment Weekly).

The Garden Theatre closes its 5th anniversary season with Stephen Sondheim’s classic Company, starring Founding Artistic Director Logan Vaden as Bobby alongside a cast made up entirely of Garden Theatre favorites.

On the night of his 35th birthday, Bobby finds himself unable to decide on a wish as he blows out his candles. A confirmed bachelor surrounded by “those good and crazy people”—his married friends—Bobby is torn between accepting his life as it is and wondering if something (or someone) is missing.

Through a series of dinner parties, first dates, and candid conversations, Bobby explores the highs, lows, and absurdities of modern relationships, gaining insight into marriage, commitment, and his own persistent bachelorhood. Stephen Sondheim’s groundbreaking musical is a mature, intelligent, and wildly funny look at love, vulnerability, and what it truly means to be alive.

Join The Garden Theatre on Saturday, April 11 at 8pm to celebrate the theatre’s 5th birthday and Logan Vaden’s 35th birthday with cake and a complimentary champagne toast following the performance.
