TAYLOR MOESSINGER

Taylor Moessinger lives in Seattle with her partner D by way of Texas, where they resided for 25 years. She is an actress, singer, technician, and patron of the arts, performing in theatres across Houston and Austin. Some favorite roles include Rusty and Ariel (Footloose, Zilker Theatre Productions and Applause Theatre), Dani (Dani Girl, Trinity Street Players), The Baker's Wife and Rapunzel (Into the Woods, Applause Theatre and Austin Jewish Rep), Amy (Company, Austin Theatre Project), and Pippi (The Great American Trailer Park Musical, Austin Theatre Company), among others.

She has been nominated for a B. Iden Payne Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Musical, a Central Texas Excellence in Theatre Award for Best Actress in a Musical, and received UIL All Star Cast and Honorable Mention at State and Regional competitions. Most notably, despite a perplexing lack of dance ability for a person who's spent 20+ years in musical theatre, she got first place in the "In the Spotlight" talent show's dance category in 7th grade and was cast in her high school's show choir (a decision her choir teacher immediately and obviously regretted).

Some of her favorite artistic memories are those shared with Logan, and she could not be more excited to be a member of The Garden Theatre's advisory board. Despite the fact that she's killed every houseplant she's owned, she hopes to help The Garden grow.
